These Waffle Knit Thermals from Iron Heart are the perfect base layer or single layer for the Fall season. Keep it as your only layer for moderate Fall temps, or use it underneath your Iron Heart flannel for additional warmth during the cooler days. Note: These run small, but we recommend taking your typical tops size and allowing the fabric to stretch to size (e.g. if you wear L in Iron Heart flannels, consider taking an M in the IHTL-1301 for a slim/tight fit at first, but which will stretch to accommodate your body). However, if you prefer a more relaxed fit or need the additional length, you can your same Iron Heart flannel size. These are once washed so there is minimal shrinkage with cold wash and hang dry. However, if you do a machine dry on medium to high heat, you may get an additional 1" shrinkage in the chest (when measured flat), which due to the stretch of the fabric will generally stretch back out a little bit. However, the length may shrink an additional 1"-1.5" depending on the temperature and duration.
Model: 6'0'' and 175 lbs. wearing size L, which currently is a slim fit but should stretch for a more relaxed fit over time; if model was shorter, he would consider taking an M to maintain a slimmer fit over time.
